Things That Make Me Laugh

Reese cracks me up on a daily basis. Most of the time, it's not on purpose. Sometimes, it's her trying to make me laugh so she won't get in trouble!

1. She tells on herselkf. WHen she's doing something she knows she isn't supposed to, she'll say "Ma! No No No" She'll even come find me in another room to tell on herself.

2.When she is in trouble, and I tell her "NO" in my best Stern-Mother's-in-Charge-Serious voice, she just laughs at me. Grins, and laughs. The more I say no, the harder she laughs.

3. "Hi" is her favorite word. Especially when she is trying to avoid things like going to bed (she obviously isn't ready to sleep if she's still greeting people!), or wants to distract me from something. When she's about to get in trouble, she'll look at me and say "hi" in her sweetest voice. I guess this is so I'll be so overcome with lovey feelings for her that I won't notice her unplugging the cords and playing with the light sockets.

4. She's been waking up topless. Evidentally, she now knows how to take off tank tops. I went in to get her from a nap last week and she was standing up at the end of her crib, topless. Her pink tank top was on the floor, she looked at it, pointed and said "Uh-oh!" I wish i could've gotten a picture, but the camera wasn't here.

5. Her tired walk. This is one of the funniest things to watch. When she's tired, she starts to walk like a drunk. She'll be walking along, and she'll start to stick out her belly really far and lean her shoulders back a little. Then every few steps, her knees will slightly buckle, and she'll kind of dip down, still walking. She looks like she's going to just hit the deck at any minute.

And for those of you that don't know, she has quite the vocabulary these days. Here's a taste of Reese language: Hi, (favorite word) Bites! (second favorite word)Uh Yeah (to answer a phone, or simply point one out to you) Dog,(she LOVES dogs) MA!! (me) daaaaddddyyyyy (in the sweetest voice you've ever heard, for Kevin) Osby (Crosby) Nigh-Nigh (Go to sleep) Bay-Be (Again with the sweet voice, for any baby anywhere) Lout Lide (outside, her favorite place to be) Bath. (second favorite place to be) D (Miss Diane, her sitter) There's lots more, but I won't bore you with dinky, drink, yes, no, etc.
