The First......

October has been a big month for Reese. We started with a party for Kevin' s Birthday on Oct.6th. Reese spent her first Saturday watching football with the guys. As you can see, she didn't watch much of the game, and she didn't let Jimmy either! The next day, Reese tried cereal for the first time. This girl is all about food! We can't keep her full. She LOVED the cereal, and ate the entire bowl the first time.
On Oct.12 Reese got her first hair cut. She could have gotten one about a month before, but Kevin wanted us to wait. I couldn't handle the baby mullet she was growing anymore. So, my hair girl, Ashley, trimmed it up for us. Reese had a great time at the salon. Any place with a giant mirror and lots of people looking at her is OK with her!
Reese wore her first hair bow! We went shopping in KC with Ashley, and of course, I got everything for Reese. Check out the leg warmers!

Denver 2

Jacob was very excited for Reese and I to come visit. He told me that she could sleep in his bed, and he would hold her all night long. By the end of our trip, he still said her loved her and wanted her to live with them, but he also didn't want anyone to hold her, or pay attention to her! They did like to watch cartoons together in the morning. Jacob didn't want to miss out on a chance for us all 3 to cuddle in the chair and watch cartoons together.
After a long day of running errands, we got back to Michelle and Johns, and locked ourselves out. Reese, Jacob and Ellen took a little break under a tree. It didn't take long before we figured out that Ellen had a spare key to the house!
Evidentally Reese's favorite part of the trip was going to the fire station! John wasn' t there, so Ryan showed Reese the fire truck. I think she liked him more than the trucks!

After a long drive home, I was ready for a nap too!

Denver

Reese made her first trip to Denver in September. Kevin had to stay home and work, so early on a thursday morning, we headed out. Reese is a great traveler. I had to wake her up half way there to get out and walk around a bit, and she slept again until we reached Denver. We had a great time catching up with everyone!

As you can see, Reese quickly had Michelle wrapped around her fingers! Every evening Reese would tell John a story. They got longer and louder as our visit went on. I think she was missing her daddy and their late night talks.
I think Stacey should move to KS now, and help me with Reese. Jacob is old enough to let her go!
Aunt Val had Reese for all of 5min before she got her to sleep. No one else could get her to sleep without a 10min crying spell first. Maybe she should move to KS too!
As you can see, Aunt Elaine could care less about the rest of us! She wouldn't even look away to take a picture!
