Tamaya Vacation

We took a family vacation last week to New Mexico. Kevin had a conference to attend, so Reese and I came along. I guess Kevin figured that was easier than listening to me guilt trip him about getting to go there, and making him bring 5 days worth of Mexican food back with him! We had a great time, left home on Tuesday and drove half way to Tamaya, our resort at the Sana Ana Pueblo. While we were there, Kevin got to golf and Reese and I got to lay by the pool (or kiddie fountain.) Kevin only had to work for about 2 hours in the evenings (Tough, I know. Try not to feel sorry for him.) Within about 3 hours of our arrival, EVERYONE in the resort knew Reese by name. It took us a long time to get anywhere, as we had to say "hi" to every person we passed! She thought she was a pretty big girl. She learned how to drink out of straws, liked to wander around in her PJ's outside of our patio, chase bunny rabbits, eat with silverware, and generally entertain the entire resort. On Saturday, we drove into Santa Fe. We had breakfast at a favorite bakery of mine, then did some shopping. I picked out a silver bracelet for Reese that she loved. She wanted it on right then, and left it on all day and night, even through a bath. I finally got if off her to swim on Sunday, and lost it. Seriously. Haven't seen it since. Oh well, it's ogot to be around somewhere! After our shopping, we had lunch at The Shed (Kevin broke a sweat:) and then took our tired baby princess home. She did great on the entire trip. So, as of now, family vacation was a success!! Here are a few pictures from the trip!
